Dir Sir or Madam,
I am writing in regard to the transporting of my Sea Ray 250 Sundancer on 7/29/09, from Colton's Point, Maryland to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. My initial contact with your company was Angela, who returned my request for a transport quote. She was courteous, efficient and very accommodating. After agreeing to the quote provided (which was priced very reasonably), my transport was set up by Tricia. She offered me several scheduling options, and set the date on the day that was most convenient for me. (This was notable because I had to coordinate between two marinas and a contact person at the destination point) The evening before my transport, I was called by Rusty, the transport driver. He was calling to set up the meeting time at the marina. We agreed on 8:00 am the following morning. Rusty arrived twenty minutes early, despite having to drive almost two hours to get there. In addition to being very personable, he was the consummate professional. Everything he did in preparation to transport my boat was expertly focused on the safety and protection of the boat during its journey. He provided answers to all my questions, and went out of his way to assure me that the haul would take place without incident. In summary, I was compelled to write this letter so it could be reviewed by anyone considering Interstate Haulers. In a time of diminishing customer service (in almost every retail or service defined aspect of our economy), Interstate Haulers stands head and shoulders at the forefront. They are not only professional and efficient, they demonstrated the skills and communication necessary to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. I could not be happier with their performance.

I went to Arizona two weeks ago and picked up the sailboat myself. The trailer was not in good shape. I had to put on four new trailer tires. Then just outside of Flagstaff I almost lost the trailer and boat. After fixing the trailer tongue it was 1450 back home. We were going at the break neck speed of 55 miles per hour. 48 hours later and thoroughly exhausted we made it home. We spent about $1000 dollars in gas and about $1000 dollars in incidentals. In the end it would have been cheaper to hire Interstate Haulers. Live and learn.

I made a mistake of not letting you move my boat first. Trying to save money, I accepted a lower bid from a guy off Uship and he basically ending up stealing a $1,000 deposit from me and never picked up my boat. Uship wouldn't and couldn't do anything to help me. You girls were so nice and understanding to me and my problem. You helped me by getting my boat picked up fast!! You also put me in the right direction to track down this scum bag off Uship to try and get my money back. Hopefully others will read this and not make the same mistake I did. I made the mistake of using another company because they gave me a lower quote. They not only jerked the marina around where my boat was, by picking the boat up a week earlier then contracted, but their dispatcher virtually lied to me about the trucks they used and that this pick-up though a week ahead of schedule would not arrive here in Iowa until the first of June, guess what, the truck pulled into my driveway today meaning that the driver broke DOT rules in order to get from Alabama to here in less then 24 hours risking my boat and putting me in a bind by showing up over the Memorial day weekend. I sent them a letter stating my feelings regarding the fact that they picked the boat up a week too early, that it arrived here a week to early, and that evidently they
didn't give a flip about their customers because they have not returned my calls for the past three days. I do know some attorneys in their area, and I am going to seek damages from them through small claims court. I also told them I would go to the number one boaters website @ latitudes 38 and blog them so that other boaters would think twice before using them instead of a good reputable trucking company that would treat a customer fairly. I do wish now that I had dealt with you and I am very disappointed in my decision to go with them to save a few bucks. I have left several messages and finally in the last message, I stated quite frankly that if this dispatcher was any kind of man he would return my calls instead of hiding behind a answering machine. So now you know, I wish that I had went with your company again, and regret even using anyone else.

I had my 24' Seaswirl Striper transported by you last week, from California to Texas. Dave was our driver, and I was impressed beyond words at the professionalism and care for our boat he showed. When I saw my boat when it arrived in Texas, I was astounded at how clean it was! Since Dave had travelled mostly at night, it had picked up fewer bugs and dirt than we've gotten on it, towing it to a lake in California! I wanted to let you know that my boat arrived in great condition at Greenwood lake New Jersey yesterday.
Chris knew exactly what he was doing and provided excellent customer service to me, immediately answering all my calls and providing frequent updates. I had tie-down straps on the boat's transom , but Chris added an extra one in front for added security. He also attached his own set of lights to the trailer because my lights weren't getting a good ground. He and I also dealt with the last minute problem of my marina's launch ramp being locked as he followed me to another marina where we launched my boat.
Jamie and the other administrative people also did a great job, arranging delivery to happen July 18th which was very convenient for me and was just as I had requested.
I was extremely pleased with your service and would use it again if needed and would enthusiastically recommend your service to all other boaters.

Wow!! Everything you say on your web site seems to be the truth. If there is anything more scarier than buying a vehicle or a boat on e-bay from total unknowns, its finding another unknown to bring it home. In the past I
have purchased 2 vehicles via e-bay, and even though the sales went smooth, the transportation was a nightmare.....not so with you guys. Tricia is fantastic...actually tells you the truth. I have to update you with my first experience with Dotan Transport. Mark Allen was a very professional, detailed and courteous shipper of my boat. Mark called in advance to arrange pick-up and time of desired to drop off. This was my first time dealing with a shipping company to deliver a high dollar amount boat. Mark Allen called me from time to time to keep me updated through out the day. He made sure the boat and trailer was road worthy and detailed the status of the boat before he began the trip. Mark arrived at the time he estimated it would take him to reach me. Mark made sure that my boat had the best care during the trip. The trip was over 800 miles and Mark delivered my boat on schedule. Communication, professionalism and a dedicated driver equals customer satisfaction. If I ever need a transport or recommend one, Dotan is the way to go. I would be more than happy to be a contact/reference for customers who are not comfortable with having their item shipped. Thank you Mark and Dotan Transports!

Hi i just wanted to say what a Great job you guys did at Dotan Transport Moving my 38 ft Cigarette from Willis Texas to Nutley NJ over 1 700. miles and my boat was treated as if i was moving it myself, Would hire Dotan Transport agian for my next move.
